Making Friends Social Skills: Kindergarten – 5th Grade

Role-play, social stories, creative arts and fun group encounter activities teach your child specific social skills and pragmatic tools that lead to more comfortable and positive peer interaction.

Fee for 6 week class: Winter / Summer - $195

Winter / Summer Wednesdays Ages 5 – 7: 5:30 – 6:30 PM

Winter / Summer Wednesdays Ages 8 – 11: 6:45 – 7:45 PM

Friends' Clubhouse: Kindergarten – 5th Grade (For children who have previously attended Kid Esteem groups)

This program, reserved for children who have previously attended other Kid Esteem groups, is designed for the child who has few or no friends. Weekly play themes and group activities, along with favorites such as chess and Legos, will support your child toward participating in an enjoyable social life.

Fee for each 10 week session: Fall / Winter / Spring - $195 for 1 day a week,$350 for 2 days a week

Gifted and Talented Social Explorers: 2nd – 5th Grade

This dynamic group will tap into the unique perspective of children identified as gifted and talented, and help to channel their creative, curious nature toward positive interactions, emotional maturity, self-esteem and purposeful social encounters.

Systematic Social Skills for Autism, Asperger's, PDD: Ages 4 - 17

Social skills training program designed specifically for children with Asperger's Syndrome, PDD-NOS, High Functioning Autism and related pragmatic social and language delays. The children are trained to focus on awareness of self and others, and coached to use specific, appropriate language that supports healthy and relevant social interaction. The thirty-week program, divided into three, ten week sessions, combines a methodical approach to acquiring specific social skills with fun and playful opportunities to apply those skills. A prize based reinforcement system and creative video techniques are used to facilitate self-assessment and increased awareness. Parents receive weekly follow-up skills sheets and individual conferences to help guide and coach the children through various social situations and experiences.

Ages 7 – 8: Saturdays 10:30 – 11:15 AM

Ages 9 – 11: Saturdays 11:30 – 12:15 PM

Ages 12 – 17: Saturdays 3:00 – 4:00 PM 

Kid Power Hour Social Emotional Learning: Kindergarten - 5th Grade
Tools for developing emotional intelligence and maturity, positive self-expression, socialization, self-esteem and behavior management are taught through adventure role-play, acting stories, puppets, character development, costumes, masks and other fun, creative arts activities.
Fee for 10 week class: Fall / Spring - $295

K-1^st Grade: Wednesdays 5:30 – 6:30 PM

2^nd - 3^rd Grade: Fridays 5:45 – 6:45 PM

4^th - 5^th Grade: Wednesdays 6:45 – 7:45 PM

The Power To Lead: 6th – 8th Grade
Creative arts, role-play and fun group encounters help young adolescents gain individual empowerment, self-esteem, leadership skills, social skills, and positive self-expression to more effectively deal with the challenges of family life, peer pressure and school.
