Dr. Lee and Marianne are New York State Certified Teachers and Licensed Creative Arts Therapists in private and public practice over 20 years, with extensive education and training from such prestigious universities as Oxford and NYU.

Marianne’s inspirational parenting book, The Sacred Weave of Mothering (2002, Aslan Publishing) has been featured locally on News 12 and positively reviewed across the country.

Lee's new textbook, Surpassing Standards in the Elementary Classroom (2009, Peter Lang Publishing) provides teachers with a roadmap for empowering their students' intellectual and social development. Lee's chapter in the textbook Clinical Applications of Drama Therapy in Child and Adolescent Treatment (2004, Brunner-Routledge) highlights a creatve arts approach to group work for children with neurological impairments.

Lee and Marianne’s ground-breaking work at Kid Esteem has been featured in numerous Newsday articles, seen on local cable television shows and heard across the country in nationally syndicated radio shows. Lee and Marianne are the proud parents of four children.
